Skip Punta Cana to visit Samana

For my first trip to the Dominican Republic, I decided to skip the typical Punta Cana route and explore Samana and Santo Domingo instead. I’m so happy with that choice. I wanted more than just turquoise water and a resort bubble. I wanted to actually feel the Dominican culture.
